Frames in order of being played

FRAME 1 Nick Bentley 22 Ben Monk 93
Ben getting away to a flyer with some great pots. Nick struggling with the safety. Ben knocks in a 25 break, which should have been more, but rattled the black in the jaws. Nick then starts to pull back with some good long pots. Going into the colours Nick needs snookers, and although he tried Ben potted well to take the frame.

FRAME 3 Mick Walker 45 Dave Mayer 63.
A very close frame of which the highlight was a 31 break from Dave. Mick keeping it tight until the end with some good safety. It all went down to the last 2 balls with Dave taking them for the frame.

FRAME 2 Dave Milner 34 Andy Gratton 76
Andy Starting the better and took the lead from the off. Dave making some pots and missing others. Andy took on some excellent pots only to miss easier ones. It all came down to the last 4 balls in the end. Dave getting out of snookers and Andy potting the last 4 to take the frame.

FRAME 4 Craig Hefford 24 Lee Jones 63
A bit of a up and down frame with neither player wanting the lead. A couple of high teen breaks from Lee saw him surge ahead. At this time and with SE Derbyshire having a big lead the frame was just played out for fun.

A super 128 point win for SE Derbyshire SC, Hard luck Building Trades Sc who came up against a really on form team. Thanks to you all for playing your part in the contest. It was a well played final, played in a very friendly manner.

Thanks to the staff at BCI for the use of there superb tables, which were brushed and ironed prior to the match.
