BCI 'C' took revenge for their 4-1 home defeat by the Wizards a month ago, deservedly winning by the same margin at the Willowbrook.

Glenn Price 89-50 Chris Clark
Glenn took control of the frame with a break of 21 midway through and was helped by 22 points in fouls from Chris. Glenn led by 34 points going into the colours, but Chris played some excellent snookers and closed the gap to 20 before potting the yellow. Another foul by Glenn looked to have given Chris the advantage, but he couldn't capitalise and Glenn knocked in an 18 to secure the frame.

Rob Lord 31-47 Shaun Parkinson
A tight frame with no breaks to speak of, but some excellent potting nevertheless and some good safety, particularly from Shaun. he led 32-19 going into the colours, and laid two good snookers which Rob did well to get out of. Shaun fluked the yellow, and took green and brown in the same visit to make the frame safe

Callum McKenzie 31-74 Steve Capsey (Snr)
Callum stepped in as a sub for Ant Lord, having recently returned from a six month stay in Australia. Normally a solid potter Callum struggled tonight, and Steve took full advantage. A nice 27 came to an unfortunate end as he touched the blue with his cue as he potted a red, but Cal couldn't capitalise and a 14 gave Steve a 32 point lead going into the colours. He took green, brown and blue in one visit to win comfortably.

Tonight's food break comprised some excellent chilli beef wraps and chips, the only complaint being that the wraps weren't too good at holding the filling whilst you were eating them! Delicious all the same - thank you John!

Richard Bullock 43-69 Steve Capsey (Jnr)
A muscle spasm in his left arm did nothing to stop Steve potting superbly - so good in fact there were suggestions of some additives in his cigarettes! Richard took an early lead with a good break leading to Steve fouling twice. He gave Steve hardly any openings, but when he did, Steve fired in an excellent 26 and then followed it with a 17 to take control. he led by 25 going into the colours, and potted yellow and green, leaving Richard needing snookers. Several attempts finished close, but not close enough as Steve took brown and green to make the frame safe.

An excellent evening's snooker, played in the right spirit, with BCI C playing like champions elect.
