The Committee met tonight (Tuesday 1st April) to decide on what would happen if Arnold and Pegasus finish level on points AND frame difference after next week's matches.  We thought we had better make the decision in advance, just in case!

It was decided that there would be a play-off match with the winners being crowned league champions 2007/08.

So, keep your diaries free and don't book any holidays just yet.....  ;)

Yes we at Pegasus are happy with a play-off should all things be tied.  Just hope we can get that extra frame on Tuesday as my nerves are already shredded without a little title decider to contend with.

The last match is not going to be an easy call, Cotgrave have got a strong home team if they are all available, Sherwood, although they have won only one match all season they are a steady side, again if they are all available.
Havent spoken to anyone yet but a play-off would obviously be the best solution, perhaps 22nd (or would that affect the plate final ) OR 29th ?.  At Sherwood or Bulwell ?.

A grandstand finish at Bulwell...sounds good but to be honest though as the two clubs are so close together we may as well just have the normal league format rather than dragging two teams across town.  Although having said that if we were to play at a neutral venue we could just play 6 singles and one doubles frame to ensure a result on the night.

Still it may not happen yet anyway.

Congrats on bagging the runners-up spot by the way.
