Well played Stadium, a much deserved result on the night with some great individual performances.
Good luck in the final.

:bravo:

Whatever you fed Pete last night, please let me know - I need some of it :-)

Well done Stadium....cracking result  :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

Sadly couldn't make play-offs last night but i bet it was a great atmosphere with all of them being held at the same venue on the same night!

The odds have just shortened on the Pegasus B team finishing higher than the A team next season  ;)

It was a great atmosphere Mike, pity about the result.

Good to see you haven't fired the 'A' Team yet - or do we have letters waiting at Pegasus LOL

I'm still in shock!  Nobody could have predicted that me, Pete and Ross would all have won against three top Pegasus players and the fact we all won so convincingly is even more surprising.

It's been a cracking season which has seen 9 different teams getting into the various finals (Oakleigh, Wollaton, Mapperley, City Hospital, Arnold A, Arnold B, Stadium, BCI SE, Beeston).  This is great to see.

Wayne - The sacking letters have been recalled......for now!!!  I guess it's not a time for knee-jerk reactions although I'm puzzled at the under-acheivement of the team.  It was a big overhaul for us in the summer and i guess it takes time for a new team to gel and get that togetherness that's needed to win things.

I have some views on as to why we failed as I'm sure other members of the team do but that's for a private team discussion i guess.

Steve - Yes I agree it has been really great seeing so many different teams involved in the chase for glory in this vintage season.  And to think I got personally slated earlier in the season at one club due to the changes we pushed for and introducing the new divisional cup competition......

Any news on a date for the golf yet?  My last two rounds have been 87 & 86 so I can't wait (Ramsdale's a tad easier than Oakmere i do admit but definetely a marked improvement in my game from last year)

Mike, from what I saw last night, it just so happened Steve, me and particularly Pete just hit form at the exact right moment. I think everyone's form, whatever their ability will go up and down considerably when facing just one frame.

I did enjoy beating Danny though (my constant nemesis in recent league and competition matches!!) Hope he's reading...

Contrary to some peoples opinion I thought it was a great night with all of those teams playing at one venue.

To be honest it was a great result that Stadium beat us the other night as it shows that this type of format can throw anything up - just like the FA Cup really. It shows the grat talent that we have in the NHSL.

Mike - I agree it does take time for the team the gel and I think its happening now, I agree it has been a weird season and we have underperformed but it can only get better - thanks for holding off on the letters  ;).

Also - you need to stop playing golf - you are putting some scary scores in now - we will have to review your handicap before the golf day.
