Ruddington CC remain top of the division despite a loss in 1 of their 2 matches on the night, and only a 3-2 win in the other. Mapperley's match with Spot On Masters was posponed and so BCI 'C' move up to second place.

Division 2

In their scheduled first match of the night Ruddington CC lost 4-1 to Sherwood SC 'B'. There were 3 black ball games in this match, but not in the first frame where Many Sant had a 59-25 win over Maurice Hudspeth. J.Hutchins recovered from needing 2 snookers to beat Nick Kirkman by 65-56 to put Sherwood SC 'B' 2-0 up. Dennis Dyer won the second of the black ball games to pull a frame back for Ruddington by beating Joe Griffin by 54-49. D.Byrne won the last frame 61-58, to give sherwood the win, against Dave Griffiths.
In the second of their matches Ruddington CC managed a close 3-2 win over Sherwood SC 'D'. Gareth Evans won the first frame for Sherwood SC 'D' by beating Maurice Hudspeth by 61-56. Nick Kirkman made the scores level with a 71-51 win over Andy Fitton. Kev Smith put Sherwood 2-1 up ina 68-25 win against Dennis Dyer. It was Dave Griffiths that won the mach for Ruddington CC with a 72-31 win over Les Smith to secure the aggregate points win.
BCI 'C' won a close match with BCI 'D' by 3-2 to move into second spot in the division. Steve Capsey (Senior) winning the first frame by 69-30 agianst Clint Broome. The BCI 'D' team moved to a 2-1 lead with Paul Bradley beating Shaun Parkinson 59-41 and Craig Bradley winning 60-30 against Sean Croft. Steve Capsey(Junior) Gave the BCI 'C' team the aggregate points win in a 64-32 defeat of Stuart Bradley.
