Malc Grocock 98 - 30 Chris Needham
The first half of this frame saw Chris start the brighter, pulling 20 odd points in front, then Malc pulling himself level. What followed in the second half was a terrible run of the balls for Chris, going in-off on several occasions at the start of breaks, with Malc making the most of these opportunities to leave himself 40 odd in front with just the colours remaining. Just when it looked like Chris was going to minimise the defecit with a clearance of the colours, somehow the white managed to find it's way into the middle bag at a ridiculous angle after potting the blue. Malc duely potted the blue, the pink(even though he snookered himself!), and the black.

Brian Butcher 98 - 10 D Milner
From what i saw of this frame, as reffing the other game, it looked like a ruthless performance from master tactician 'Butch'. Picking off reds with colours in between some awesome saftey play. At one point leaving his opponent in a really tough snooker on the last red which was tight behind a baulk colour on the back cushion, which he attempted a few times to use the jaws of the top pocket to throw it accross the cushion but without success, leaving free balls each time.

Daz Clarke 66 - 59 M Walker
Again didn't see much of this frame with playing mine at the same time, looked close all the way through with both players playing some good snooker. Daz nicking the frame with a good clearance of the last 3 colours.

Adam Goodall 22 - 55 Steve Needham
With the pressure taken off after big wins in the first 2 frames, plus knowing we only needed a winning draw to seal second place, i think my focus was more on consolidating our lead rather than winning the frame. Although perhaps it didn't help that this was probably my worst performance of the season! In a frame that didn't see too many opportunities, Steve took more of his, and in the end running out a comfortable winner.

He's been our secret weapon a couple of times this season! Reckons he struggles with the potting side of things, but from what i've seen he does ok!
