Beeston Snooker Hall played host to a quality semi-final on Thursday evening which had to be decided by a re-spotted black!

Neil Jones took the first frame with the help of a 54 break.

Jones then made a 57 break in the second frame which left Keith Holgate needing a snooker.  Unfortunately for Jones he went in-off and Holgate capitalized brilliantly, going on to win the frame to set up a decider.

Jones made a 35 break in the deciding frame but the points finished level meaning a re-spotted black was required to seperate these two quality players.  In the end it was a relieved Jones who potted the black in the middle bag to set up a final with either Wayne Martin or Clint Broome.

Well done Neil!
