Steve Howard 2 v 0 Shaun Croft j'nr singles comp:
Frame 1:
Steve hadn't played Shaun before,so neither player knew what to expect,so the opening frame saw Steve & Shaun playing many safety shots off the pack, until it was Shaun who got in with a great long red, which was followed with a black, but it broke down there, and Shaun let Steve in for a small 15 break.
Steve then started potting balls,no big breaks as the frame was a tight affair, before too long Shaun found himself behind, though to his credit played his heart out at the 'snookers required' stage,he couldn't quite get them, and Steve took the 1st frame.
1-0Frame 2:
Again a frame which turned out to have everything great pots, safety, snookering etc!
Shaun, got ahead in this frame,(maybe due to Steve's eagerness to tuck into his 'buffet'),

that bulwell so very kindly provide for it's 'home' pool and snooker team.Steve was tucking into his 'fish fingers & chips' whilst the frame was slowly getting away from him.
With fish fingers polished off,Steve knuckled down,as Shaun had got a good lead on him.
It was down to the last few colours,Steve took the brown, blue, and ran out of position for pink.
But . . .in sending the pink down to the opposite end of the table from baulk, which was only meant to have been a safety shot,it ran parallel to the side cush' all the way down to the corner pocket, and . . .

an almost 12 foot 'fluked' pink went in,and to add to this, perfect position was obtained on black which was just an easy stun in for frame and match.
So sorry for the 'fluked' pink Shaun.i really am,i was so 'jammy' with that shot, and to finish spot on the black too!
2-0But . . .i'm sure Shaun will agree, and Jordan, who came along with him,
That we had an enjoyable evenings snooker,(just how it should always be),and we
ALL had plenty to talk and laugh about, both during and after the match itself, fab night, but before we knew it, it was time to call it a night . . .
Thoroughly enjoyed playin you Shaun, still woulda' been a fab night even had i lost, and unlucky in that 2nd frame mate, which you coulda' snatched, from me,takin it to the decider . . .
