HEADLINES
Only 1 division 1 team left in the plate. Spot On Masters have a close win with a large handicap

K/O Plate
In a match played last week Ruddington CC, with a 14 start, overcame Spot On (Sneinton) by 285-191. A big 67-52 win by Ant Gilman put Spot On (Sneinton) in the driving seat. A huge 86-16 win by Dave Griffiths over Rob Ryan then put Ruddington CC ahead again. Mick McMillan then had a small win over Dennis Dyer, by 66-55, which helped Spot On (Sneinton) make a comeback. Only for Nick Kirkman to beat Mick O'Neill by 78-42 to seal the win for Ruddington CC.
In a closely fought match Spot On Masters came out winners over Sherwood SC 'A'. Spot On Masters had a 77 start and needed nearly all of them to overcome the division 1 side. In the first frame Cary Davies put Spot On Masters even further ahead with a 57-35 win against Brendon Murtagh. Steve Howard had a struggle in his match with Wayne Bilbie and lost out 72-46. Ant Scarborough then took the next frame over James "am i going to win a frame this season" Robinson by 74-23. This left Paul Bell on the last leg knowing that he had to keep within 20 points of Lee Crombie to win the match for Spot On Masters. Cometh the hour cometh the hero and he managed only to lose by 74-58 to seal the win by just 6 points. Spot On Masters winning 261-255.
In an all division 1 clash BCI 'B' overcame the team just above them in the league City Hospital LC by 61 points. With only a 7 point start Neill Elliott made it 15 with a 73-65 win over Chris Clark. Neill having a 33 break and Chris having a 31 break in the frame. Toby Irons then lost a close frame by 51-32 against Gaz Morrison. This put BCI 'B' behind, but with a 42 break Mick Salmon beat Paul Wrathal by 62-13 to give BCI 'B' a winning lead. Ian Dawson then wrapped up the win with a 44-28 win over Glen Price. BCI 'B' winning 220-157.

In the other tie BCI 'C' went away to SE Derbyshire SC and came away with a win.

SEE ATTACHED LEAGUE TABLES.

THE DRAW FOR THE SEMI-FINALS WILL TAKE PLACE NEXT WEEK. SE DERBYSHIRE SC WILL BE MAKING THE DRAW.

Anything above a 40 in your case. above 80 if you're a division 1 player. If you reach the final you get a trophy anyway.
