The last time these two sides met it was 8-0 to Nottingham Uni!

Pegasus are now only 3 points behind them.

I didn't realise that Gordon Gunn played away from home.  Perhaps he should stay at Wollaton in future...

Cheers Wollaton, we owe you for this one :thx:

Nottingham, you're another team without the easiest run in.  Not much room for errors in your remaining matches.  We're 3 points behind, breathing down your neck and you have to meet us again.  I think Michael Holt says he's available for that one as well if we need him.
No pressure though. ;)

Luckily for you we dropped a point.  Joking aside, at least this makes the run in a bit more interesting.

Dale and co did well at home, but we did terribly at Wollaton. They played very well though. I showed that I had played for a month by being dreadful as I can ever remember. I think I potted more in-offs than actual balls!

At Wollaton
4-0
Benson 62 Robin Hicks 42
Winson beat Tom Barrett
Barton 61 Chris Walker 23
Benson and Winson beat Hicks and Barrett

Would have been nice to scrap a frame for a draw considering we were missing a few of our better players as they had exams the next day. Imagine that's not an excuse that's been used before on this forum!!! ;) Even so the Wollaton guys were very welcoming and deserved their win. And it does open the league up again and makes the run in more exciting.................. I suppose lol

Sorry Dale and Tom L for breaking the undefeated dream!!!!

Daniel

As I keep saying, it's easy to underestimate Wollaton on their own table.  The beat Phoenix (Division 1) at home and have clipped our wings twice on their table too.

It's hard to shake the cobwebs after xmas isn't it?  I was playing for the first time in a month too and suffered likewise so I know how you feel mate.

Looking forward to meeting you again Uni.
