This Singles Handicap match was tight as expected, with neither player at their best following the Xmas break.
Bo was receiving 14 start from Martin and had the home advantage with the tie at Sherwood Social Club.

Frame 1
Martin got off to a solid start winning the first frame with several 30 breaks and managing to keep the dangerous Bo at arms length.

Frame 2
Bo took the lead in the second frame with several small but damaging breaks, pushing between 20 and 30 points ahead of Martin.
Martin hauled himself back into contention with another 20 break to take the frame to the colours.
The frame eventually going down to the black with Martin 6 points in front and both players requiring it.
Bo had the first chance following a loose safety shot from Martin but missed this and left a tricky rest shot for Martin of which he was glad to take.

Unlucky Bo, great match.
