With abit of forward thinking and planning this match played well in advance of the arrange date published by the league.
Played at the Lodge on a wet Wednesday night, both players looking for an up-turn in fortunes after a couple of draws each.
With both players off 35 this was a scratch game with no one player having an advantage.

Frame 1 - Both players started with tight safety play Steven the home player taking the early advantage scoring regularly and a concession with 1 red and the colours left by the visitor  58 - 9
Frame 2 - Another tight frame swinging one way then another the scoring was close but a good clearance of 25 by Sean levelling the score.
Frame 3 - Some loose play led to a scrappy frame but the home player taking the frame 50 - 22
Frame 4 - Again safety play was the order of the frame, the home player advantage paid off in the end finishing the frame with a flourish 66 - 35

A testing match played with a competitive edge enjoyed by both players. Could have gone both ways. Well played Sean
