Due to work commitment this match was brought forward at the request of the home player to Tuesday night 17/11/09 at Oakleigh Lodge.

The match started with Jordan taking the early advantage with a break of 22 and racing into a clear lead and Steven struggling to find his range but the frame taken by the visitor on the black (SR 48-JP 55). Second frame dominated by potting & safety by Steven with only token pots from Jordan (SR 46 - JP 24) Third frame like the first Jordan playing excellent strokes to take a 30 point break and Steven playing catch up (SR 47 - JP 61). The final frame both players tried to impose their safety game on the other with Steven taking the frame clearing pink and black to take the frame. (SR 37 - JP 28)
