Really enjoyable match played at Spot On Sneinton.

Frame 1
Stewart was always ahead but it took until the blue for him to clinch it.

Frame 2
Similar sort of frame until Stewart knocked in a 45 to take the frame away

Frame 3
Pretty proud of my effort in this one. To be fair Stewart missed a lot of balls he would expect to make and when i missed the balls broke my way but my safety was pretty good and when i had chances I made them. I knocked in a few mid to high teens to build a lead of just under 40 points and the frame was conceded before the colours.

Frame 4

This frame started pretty evenly but then Stewart built a lovely break of 82 to claim overall victory. He probably won't remember but there were a couple of great development shots in there and a lot of missable reds along the bottom cushion too. He missed a straight yellow at the start of the colours when worried about position for the green but a fantastic break nevertheless.

Really enjoyed the match. Think I'll have to take the uni team down there to practice sometime as the table was lovely and absolutely rapid compared to what I was used to. A nice table makes such a difference to how you play. Congrats again Stewart, best of luck in the later rounds

Sounds like another great match.  Well done to Stewart on a very nice 82 break and well done to you too Robin for taking a frame off a man very much in form.

:bravo:

Thanks Steve. At one point I thought I was going to witness a century- I've never seen one made before! An awesome break though

Stewart, are you still playing at Zingari?  I've heard their Tuesday night team has moved to Beeston, is that correct?

Steve, yea im playing all my games at spot on sneinton now.  Me and andy spicer left the zingari team and have joined part of a new team at beeston billiard hall as they didnt have a team playing from there in our league.
