Singles League: Stew Crosswell 2-2 Chris Winter

This high quality singles league match was played out at Spot on Sneinton with a fair result of 2-2.

Frame 1 - Crosswell starting off strongly with a Couple of 30 breaks to establish a 1-0 lead.
Frame 2 - Crosswell leading from the start but missing a vital red on a break to let winter to reduce the gap and make it 1-1 on the colours.
Frame 3 - Start of the frame led to some good potting from both players with Crosswell making 39 but missing another vital red to go 60 points up. Winter Comes back strongly with a 40 something but misses last red leaving it over the pocket to allow Crosswell to win to go 2-1 up.
Frame 4 -The frame sees both players have decent chances and some more good safety play but reds the start to go scrappy and on the cushions. Crosswell thinking he hasnt left much on watches as Winter makes a fantastic 94 clearance. Superb break from where all the reds where, well done on that Chris.
