A boring hard fought match saw Clint take this on the final black in the deciding frame.
The table as Clint will agree was like glass and both players struggled to get any confidence in their potting.  Matt was hoping for some home advantage but the staff had double booked the teams usual table!

Clint took the opening frame on the black and Matt took the second on the pink i think? – having made a solid 29 which was surprising given the state of the table.

A forgettable final frame with both players missing pots left right and centre – it was a lottery as to who would sneak it and with Clint needing the last few colours to win he gradually did so one by one – with Matt missing the pink to win the match.
Well done Clint – sorry it wasn't more of a match!

UNLUCKY MATT 'MY MAN',SOUNDS LIKE YOU WERE BOTH STRUGGLING WITH TABLE CONDITIONS,BUT THESE ARE WHAT HURDLES YOU COME ACROSS IN SNOOKER,AND WHERE YOU HAVE TO ADAPT,BUT WITH ONLY 3 FRAMES YOU PERHAPS NEEDED MUCH LONGER ON THEM.YOU USUALLY HAVE THAT ADVANTAGE WHEN AT HOME,ON YOUR USUAL TABLE,SHAME YOU WEREN'T PLAYING ON IT EH? UNLUCKY MATE NICE REPORT EVEN IF YOU DID THINK YOUR MATCH WAS A 'WEE' BIT BORING
