Pete Gormley with new partner Ross Wilkin taking the place of Clary "I would like to wish him well!" It was the 2007 NHSL pairs champions Yip and Mason getting their 2009 partnership off to a good start by over coming the huge 28 pts start from this great experienced pairing from stadium by taking the opening frame. Frame two was alot closer, the stadium pairing extending their 28pts handicap keeping things tight and tricky. Yip and Mason coming back well with Yip potting a awsom long black to force the second frame into a re spot! Some great safety before Yip finally disposing off the match ball black to win 2 frames to Nill! A tough and tricky match alot tighter than the scoreline suggests!
