Very reminiscent of The Peoples Hall in their debut season when they beat Oakleigh Lodge 7-1 on the opening day.  Could Nottm Uni be the new Peoples Hall?

I think we will have to monitor their handicaps. Flash in the pan ?  OR a bit of luck. - must be more than 2 years ago since I knocked in a 40+ break.

Think we were a bit lucky with way draw went as Kalpesh, who's comfortably our best player drew their best, in the home leg at least, then knocked in his highest break for a while. Should have been higher break too, he just ran out of position on last red. Anyhow we all enjoyed it immensely and think we'll know more about our standard after Tuesday when we play Wollaton, who also won their first match. Hope we can keep it up!! :happy:
