HEADLINES
BCI 'E'lites were confirmed as champions last week. The runners-up spot was still up for grabs this week. With the 2 teams that were second and third playing each other there had to be a result. SE Derbyshire SC were relegated last week and are joined by City Hospital LC after a no show at BCI 'B'.

Division 1

As BCI 'E'lites were confimed as champions last week Top Spot and Spot On (Hucknall) fought it out for the runners-up place. Spot On (Hucknall) ran out winners by 4-1. Malc Grocock got Spot On off to a great start with a 98-30 win over Chris Needham. Substitute Brian Butcher had a massive 98-10 win over Dave Milner to make it 2-0. In the battle of the captains Daz Clarke ran out a 66-59 winner against Mick Walker by clearing the final 3 colours. Steve Needham did pull the last frame back for Top Spot in a 55-22 win against Adam Goodall.
The BCI 'E'lites versus Sherwood SC 'A' match was posponed, but still leaves the BCI team top of the table and Sherwood SC 'A' fourth.
In what was a relegation battle Carlton LC ran out 4-1 winners at home to Spot On (Sneinton). As it turned out neither team is relegated. Danny DiFolco won the first frame after a good start from Rob Ryan by 69-41. Bob Walker was playing at his best to beat Ant Gilman by 84-4. Andy Ball won the third frame with a 81-20 victory over Mick McMillan after a good snooker and a lot of free balls. Rob "Pud" Stansfield played well in a 43-38 win over Bob Wright to give Spot On a frame . City Hospital LC are relegated after not showing up to play their game at BCI 'B'. BCI 'B' getting 4 points and City Hospital losing 5 points.
